About The Position

This permanent part-time position in Mitcham involves supporting people with high physical support needs. The successful candidate will be a dedicated and compassionate support worker who is experienced in providing high physical support and passionate about providing active support, encouraging independence and helping people achieve their goals and dreams. Please see below the set roster line available. You must be able to commit to the roster split of 59:30/47:00

Requirements

• Experience with high physical support
• Cert IV in Disability or similar
• Confidence and experience in providing personal care
• A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
• The ability to develop a positive relationship with clients and to support their Individual Personal Plan.
• A current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate.
• A current unrestricted Driver Licence and willingness to drive a company van.
• Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
