About The Position

The Director US Acquiring is responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives across a portfolio of US Acquirers and Processors. This role combines senior level client engagement commercial leadership and cross functional collaboration to drive sustainable growth and strengthen Visa position in the payments ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of enterprise sales leadership and the ability to influence at the executive level.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Experience leading enterprise level client relationships in payments financial services or technology.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and complex negotiations.
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead senior relationships with acquiring and processing partners serving as a trusted advisor on payment strategy growth priorities and industry trends.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies designed to increase volume revenue and long-term partnership value.
  • Stay ahead of market dynamics customer needs and competitive developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Drive expansion of Visa products and services through consultative sales and strategic solutioning.
  • Lead development of executive level proposals and negotiate complex agreements that support scalable profitable growth.
  • Maintain accountability for performance outcomes and actively manage pipeline and priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across product solutions marketing finance legal and operations to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to support innovation and future product development.
  • Contribute to large scale initiatives that require coordination influence and disciplined execution.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership presence with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Represent Visa values and brand with integrity professionalism and high standards.
