About The Position

Under the direction of the Swedish Seattle Executive Director of Operations and the First Hill CNO, this director is accountable for the operations of the inpatient Labor and Delivery units on the First Hill campus and delivering on the quadruple aim. Works in collaboration with campus executive leadership, Regional Director, support services, and medical directors to transform delivery of clinical care for Labor and Delivery at First Hill. Creates an exceptional patient-centered experience by developing a seamless care delivery system and innovative care models to improve quality outcomes, reduce unnecessary clinical variation, and improve coordination across the continuum. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, if Master's degree is not in Nursing
• Master's Degree in Nursing, MHA, MBA
• Washington Registered Nurse License Upon hire
• Certification in Nursing Leadership Within 2 years of hire
• 5 years Progressive management experience in healthcare, preferably with an in-depth knowledge specific to clinical service area
• Experience leading teams, group facilitation, process improvement, and managing projects
• Experience working in a unionized environment.
