The purpose of this position is to manage vendor relationships and ensure vendor compliance with established internal and/or regulatory performance metrics. This includes accumulating, monitoring, and reporting on vendor performance metrics to business unit management, communicating expectations and performance against metrics to vendors, and ensuring the development, implementation, and follow-up on annual vendor goals and targets. The role also ensures that applicable vendor performance improvement plans and/or corrective action plans are initiated and completed as expected, and that vendors sustain required performance improvements/outcomes through verification audits. Additionally, the position oversees health plan participation in annual delegation audits and provides follow-through on audit deficiencies to assure corrective actions are implemented. Facilitating communication between vendors and internal partners is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 7+ years of vendor management experience.
  • Experience with government programs health care or related experience in multiple areas of operations.
  • Proficient with MS-Project or other project management software and MS-Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management, administration or operations in the Healthcare industry preferred.
  • Experience in training/education and use of statistical analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure vendor compliance with established internal and/or regulatory performance metrics.
