About The Position

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of sales executives focused on driving new business growth across the U.S. market. This role oversees the sale of a comprehensive portfolio of technology solutions, including managed IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, hyperautomation, and digital transformation offerings. As a hands-on leader, the Director will coach and mentor the sales team in consultative selling, helping them build trusted customer relationships, uncover business challenges, and deliver solution-based outcomes. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, achieving sales objectives, developing talent, and contributing to the organization's long-term growth strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years consultative B2B sales experience required
  • 5+ years leading enterprise sales teams required
  • 5+ years selling technology solutions required
  • 5+ years of technology solutions sales leadership experience involving cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, AI, digital transformation, or similar consultative solutions, required
  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding revenue targets in cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, AI, digital transformation, or related technology sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales executives to achieve and exceed revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
  • Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, career development, and skills enhancement opportunities.
  • Complete sales operational requirements by assigning territories, managing resources, and monitoring individual and team performance.
  • Create, communicate, and execute sales strategies and objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain sales volume and drive market growth by analyzing industry trends, economic indicators, customer demand, and competitive activity.
  • Monitor market dynamics, customer priorities, and budget trends to identify new business opportunities and shape sales strategy.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and revenue projections for executive leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding business objectives and identifying opportunities to deliver value.
  • Guide sales teams in developing trusted advisor relationships with prospects and customers through consultative selling practices.
  • Communicate compelling value propositions through executive presentations, proposals, and customer engagements.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify and address customer business challenges through tailored technology solutions.
  • Track, monitor, and evaluate sales KPIs to measure team effectiveness and achievement of business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on sales performance, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and progress toward strategic goals.
  • Recommend strategic adjustments based on business performance, market conditions, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of sales methodologies, customer relationship management practices, technology trends, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in professional organizations, industry events, educational workshops, and networking opportunities to enhance market knowledge and leadership effectiveness.
