About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Requirements and Capabilities Director for Undersea Programs to lead campaigns to grow Raytheon’s customer base for undersea integrated sensors and effectors throughout the undersea domain. The Director develops, gains leadership approval and aggressively executes campaign strategies in close coordination with the Raytheon Naval Systems & Sustainment (NSS) Business Development Executive and Naval Power business units. The Director will develop relationships with domestic and international customers that desire undersea sensor, effector, and integrated solutions to meet their defense needs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 14 years’ Navy experience with submarines, undersea operations, and undersea sensors and effectors, or Advanced Degree and minimum of 12 years’ experience
  • Submarine qualified officer with expertise with Navy undersea operations, combat systems, sensors and effectors
  • 8+ years’ experience in U.S. Navy requirements, acquisition, and/or program management
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Top Secret - Current Security Clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and assess new undersea opportunities
  • Build and maintain business relationships with potential customers and their US government counterparts
  • Provide subject matter expertise in US and international customers' procurement process and acquisition strategy
  • Participate in the development of strategic plans and country strategies
  • Prepare and request international licensing and agreements
  • Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal, State/Local on Public Policy in their advocation and development of new technologies and our solutions
