Position Summary Senior, cross-functional leader accountable for the global PLAN business process across Transcend program releases. Owns process standards, acceptance criteria and capability roadmap while leading and aligning solution, release and local support teams to deliver measurable business value. Combines strategic process leadership with operational ownership through release lifecycle and serves as the business process authority for PLAN with program stakeholders. The role will be a member of Innovative Medicine Supply Chain - Global Planning Excellence Leadership Team. IM Transcend is a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of 7+ major global PHARM ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products [across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Quality, and Data], and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable
  • Requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs.
  • Requires a minimum of 5+ years of Plan business experience.
  • Requires a minimum of 5+ years of business process design, engineering, or optimization.
  • Ability to articulate complex project details clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to senior executives
  • Crafting compelling presentations that effectively convey key project information, including risks, timelines, and milestones
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives, to manage expectations and address concerns
  • Strong background / experience in Plan processes and systems is required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in completing SAP ERP implementation cycles (e.g. Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Hypercare) is a plus
  • MRP (Materials Resource Planning) and Source experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience in designing and deploying supplier collaboration tools (SCC, SNC, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional influencing and achieving organizational alignment at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Drive PLAN process scoping and prioritization by defining key business requirements, risks, and strategic “big rock” capability priorities.
  • Provide end-to-end process leadership for solution exploration/design workshops—aligning stakeholders and ensuring PLAN leadership engagement and support governance is ready.
  • Govern PLAN capability delivery by approving process direction and acceptance criteria, and safeguarding roadmap integrity across releases
  • Drive quality decision-making by reviewing process gaps, design trade-offs, and escalating cross-functional risks and dependencies
  • Ensure operational readiness and compliance through status governance, user access management coordination, and oversight of SOPs and work instructions
  • Lead testing governance and quality assurance by overseeing end-to-end test cycles (BST, UAT, regression), confirming outcomes meet business acceptance criteria, and driving critical issue resolution
  • Orchestrate testing resource strategy by ensuring identification, onboarding, and deployment of required support—including Key Users, surge capacity, and ecosystem/ERP test coverage
  • Mitigate delivery risks by reviewing major defects, process gaps, and site-specific exceptions, and facilitating leadership decisions on high-impact issues
  • Lead PLAN business readiness governance and post‑go‑live adoption, ensuring stabilization and sustained value realization
  • Monitor adoption performance and partner with functional leadership to address major issues, mitigate risks, and prioritize continuous process improvements
