About The Position

Hello Heart is an AI company focused on heart health, aiming to predict and prevent cardiac events. Their platform identifies risk up to 10 days in advance, leading to significant reductions in hospital days and cost savings. Hello Heart partners with over 80% of large U.S. health plans and numerous employers, positioning itself as a leader in cardiac prevention in the AI era. This role, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, is responsible for national business development and sales within the Medicare space for targeted National Payers. The Director will develop and execute strategic approaches for new business development, manage existing pipeline opportunities, and identify new ones. This role requires building deep relationships with large, complex partners and collaborating cross-functionally with internal customer success, business development, and sales teams to enhance care access for members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated Business Development or Management Consulting experience in the Health Plan /Medicare space.
  • Experience and success in end-to-end partnerships by developing an overall strategy to build/maintain pipelines and executing through prospecting, relationship building, pitching, and contracting.
  • 100% independent with a demonstrated strong problem-solving skill set.
  • A strong team player who can work with multiple functions within the company.
  • Ability to effectively escalate to leadership matters that have strategic impact.
  • Go-getter who operates with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a startup.
  • Stellar written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and easily adaptable to change.
  • Happy to always roll up your sleeves to help and get things done.
  • Ability to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Business Development Leader for the company.
  • Become a deep subject matter expert in all aspects related to Hello Heart and how we can work with targeted national payers.
  • Lead prospecting, pitching, and contracting for strategic partnerships in the Health Plan/Medicare space.
  • Manage and develop the Health Plan pipeline with accountability for strategic partnership targets.
  • Negotiate and manage the execution of channel partnership agreements with Health Plans.
  • Identify and execute partnership expansion opportunities.
