About the position
Forter is seeking a Director of Technology Alliances to lead and expand their global Business Development programs. This role involves developing technical integrations with e-commerce platforms, building relationships with technology partners, and driving growth through strategic alliances. The Director will be responsible for establishing a scalable approach to enhance customer value and will lead a team of Technology Partner focused Solutions Consultants. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing technology partnership programs, technical sales, and team management. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to Forter's growth in the digital commerce industry.
Responsibilities
- Clearly define the technology partnerships roadmap with business development, channel, and strategic alliances leaders
- Work with technology partner team members from other e-commerce technology providers to identify solution architectures and go-to-market strategies
- Set KPIs with cross-functional partner-focused leaders to ensure scalability of GTM teams
- Manage processes and programs to facilitate effective collaboration within the organization
- Enrich the Pre-sales team with a defined go-to-market and solutions offerings
- Collaborate with global Pre-sales team on strategic direction and decision-making
- Work with other Forter leaders to ensure alignment and best practices
- Drive operational efficiencies as the team grows at scale
- Develop technology partnership programs
- Lead technical sales or Presales efforts
- Drive enablement for high-growth Presales software organizations
- Recruit and build teams
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and gain buy-in from stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and value creation with technology partners
- Build trust and strengthen connections with customers through accurate and instant decision-making
- Utilize the Forter Decision Engine to identify fraudsters and protect customers
- Uphold and promote the defined set of values within the organization
- Strengthen the company culture and create an environment for impactful contributions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience developing technology partnership programs
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a technical sales or Presales contributor or leader
- Proven track record of creativity and KPIs in driving enablement for high growth Presales software organizations
- Successfully recruited and built great teams
- The ability to work in fast-paced environment, be trusted to drive initiatives autonomously and gain buy-in from a wide collection of stakeholders
- Proven ability to be flexible and identify 1+1=3 opportunities with the technology partners in our ecosystem
