Meta's Developer Infrastructure (DevInfra) organization has a single mission: make Meta's engineers — and increasingly, Meta's AI builders — the most productive in the industry. Every engineer at the company depends on what DevInfra builds, and the shift to AI-native development has put our tools, platforms, and systems at the center of how Meta ships software. The nature of the work is changing fast, with work needed across the entire software/product development lifecycle. We are looking for a Director of Technical Program Management to lead the TPM function for DevInfra. This is a leadership role with both breadth and depth: you will build and lead a team of technical program managers embedded across DevInfra's pillars, and you will personally own the highest-risk, highest-ambiguity programs that cut across all of them. You will set the organization-wide operational strategy — deciding where TPM investment creates the most leverage, building the lightweight constructs that accelerate team momentum without adding overhead, and holding the organization accountable to outcomes rather than activity. The right candidate is a team leader with experience motivating and developing high-performing teams with deep technical and program expertise, who can gain the support of stakeholders across many dimensions and bring the whole team along. You do not need to have the correct answer to everything; you do need to be able to quickly drive a conversation toward a productive, programmatic solution by pulling in the right people, concepts, and decision-making frameworks. You should be a problem solver with experience driving large-scale organizational and technical transformation.
