About The Position
The (USA) Director, Talent Acquisition leads the development and execution of innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent across the enterprise. This role leads recruitment for our Walmart Global Tech's most senior engineering community, our Technical Fellows and Senior Technical Leaders. This leader will optimize recruiting processes and enhance candidate experiences focused on hiring top tech talent. Collaborating with stakeholders, the Director provides strategic guidance on talent assessment, market intelligence, and workforce planning. By leveraging advanced tools and industry best practices, this position ensures alignment with business objectives while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence in talent acquisition initiatives. The Talent Acquisition team at Walmart leads the development and execution of advanced recruitment strategies targeting technical and engineering talent worldwide. Utilizing data-driven insights and agile methodologies, the team collaborates closely with business stakeholders to support workforce planning and talent attraction. Focused on continuous improvement, the team fosters a high-performing environment aligned with strategic hiring goals. Requirements
- Extensive leadership experience in talent acquisition with a proven ability to develop and execute strategic recruitment initiatives.
- Strong expertise in stakeholder management and collaboration across multiple business units to align talent strategies with organizational goals.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision making, utilizing analytics and market intelligence to optimize sourcing and hiring outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile methodologies to manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes.
- Skilled in coaching and developing teams, fostering high performance and talent development.
- Technical acumen with experience in digital recruiting tools and data visualization platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related area and 5 years’ experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related area.
- 7 years’ experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or other area.
- 3 years’ supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.

- Utilize data-driven insights and market intelligence to optimize recruiting processes and improve hiring outcomes.
- Manage complex hiring negotiations and stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and successful talent acquisition.
- Drive innovation in digital recruiting through testing, experimentation, and adoption of advanced tools and methodologies.
- Oversee large-scale projects using agile practices to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.
- Translate business needs into talent strategies, anticipating future skill requirements and workforce planning.
