We are seeking a Director, Surveys – Americas to lead and grow our Survey business across the Americas region. This role will be responsible for the overall performance of the Americas Survey function, including client development, commercial growth, operational excellence, team development, and continued evolution of our survey capabilities in the region. This is a highly collaborative role for a leader who understands B2B research and survey delivery and can balance client service, commercial priorities, and operational execution to grow our Survey business in the Americas.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in market research, surveys, quantitative research, expert networks, or a related insights business, with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business and develop client relationships to expand survey usage and grow revenue within and across clients and prospects
  • Strong understanding of quantitative research and survey workflows, including sampling, feasibility, fielding, data collection, and quality control.
  • Experience leading teams and managing complex client-facing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business performance while maintaining high standards for quality and client service.
  • Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of how research solutions support client needs and revenue growth.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across functions, regions, and levels of an organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with survey platforms, research technology, automation, and emerging AI applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the strategy and day-to-day performance of the Survey business across the Americas region.
  • Partnering with Client Management leadership to identify opportunities to grow survey revenue, expand existing client relationships, bring in new business, and increase adoption of Survey solutions in the US region.
  • Translating client and market needs into priorities that improve the competitiveness, quality, and scalability of our Survey offering.
  • Partnering with existing global Survey leadership to ensure regional priorities align with broader company objectives for the product globally.
  • Monitoring business performance and developing plans to improve regional revenue, profitability, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end successful delivery of US Survey projects, including feasibility, survey setup, sampling, fielding, quality control, and final delivery.
  • Establishing and maintaining high standards for turnaround time, data quality, accuracy, and client service.
  • Partnering closely with existing global Survey leadership to ensure consistency of project delivery, network health and product development.
  • Partnering with Business Development and Client Service Management teams on complex or strategic Survey engagements.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve processes, and increase automation across the Survey lifecycle.
  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators related to revenue, turnaround time, quality, client satisfaction, and team productivity.
  • Actively supporting, developing, and owning the sales process, including identifying opportunities, joining client meetings, developing solutions, scoping projects, helping position and differentiate our Survey capabilities.
  • Building relationships with key clients and prospects, serving as a senior subject matter expert for Survey and quantitative research solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand Survey relationships within existing accounts and develop new business across the Americas.
  • Partnering with the Client Management and Survey leadership on pipeline development, pricing, proposals, and strategic opportunities.
  • Equipping the Client Management teams with the training, tools, and messaging needed to effectively identify and sell Survey opportunities in the region.
  • Monitoring pipelines, win rates, revenue, client retention, and other commercial KPIs to identify opportunities for continued growth.
  • Staying close to the market and client needs to inform the continued development of Survey capabilities and competitive positioning.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the Americas Survey team, creating clear expectations around performance, quality, collaboration, and client service.
  • Building team capabilities and ensuring appropriate staffing and resource allocation as the business grows.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional partnership.
  • Supporting training and enablement for Client Management teams in the US to strengthen understanding and positioning of Survey capabilities.
  • Partnering closely with Product and Technology teams to identify opportunities to improve Survey tech, tools, and workflows.
  • Representing the needs of clients and Survey Operations in the development and enhancement of survey technology.
  • Supporting improvements across survey authoring, respondent targeting, sampling, fielding, quality assurance, analytics, and reporting.
  • Identifying opportunities to use automation and AI to improve efficiency, respondent validation, data quality, and the overall client experience.
  • Supporting the adoption of new Survey tools and capabilities across the Americas organization.
  • Maintaining strong standards around network health, respondent quality, data integrity, compliance, and privacy.
  • Staying current on trends in B2B research, quantitative insights, survey technology, and client expectations.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand Survey offering through new methodologies, capabilities, partnerships, or technology.
  • Partnering across the organization to continually improve the Survey client and respondent experience.
