About The Position

Responsible for the development, growth and adaptability of integrative and complementary programs focusing on the holistic well-being of patients and their families within the Oncology Service Line. This role involves being a change leader who can continuously evaluate and refine the program and processes to enhance safety, patient experience, and quality, all while improving daily operations and patient outcomes. The Director will lead operational activities of the Oncology Integrative Programs through effective communication, administration, and implementation of best practices. They will manage multiple departments, including designated administrative and support staff, to ensure cost-effectiveness and achievement of goals and budgets. This includes planning the implementation of directives, standard policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as planning for growth, staffing, services, educational opportunities, and performance improvement in collaboration with Human Resources. The role also encompasses operational plans and fiscal management, including budget development, implementation, and monitoring for multiple departments. The Director is responsible for supporting the service line mission and meeting goals and scorecard objectives using a system approach, aligning work with strategic goals, and ensuring compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies. A key aspect of the role is to consistently deliver the best in customer service and patient care, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 8 years of experience required.
  • 5-7 years experience in management, preferably health care environment.
  • Licensure and/or certification in medical or management related discipline.
  • Leadership, planning and organizational skills to manage multiple departments and to direct the successful completion of initiatives and achievement of fiscal goals.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication abilities to support and promote a respectful, inclusive culture of service excellence.
  • Proven skills in clinical, operational and human resource management, including staffing, planning, performance management, team work and process improvement.
