About The Position

The Director of Supply Chain provides overall direction for Supply Chain (Strategic Supply Management). The role collaborates with global and regional teams to develop and share best practices, align core material processes across regional sites, and validate alignment through operational assessments. The director leads supply chain strategy, forecasting, reporting, tools, processes, and training while supporting customer service, revenue growth, cost reduction, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a similar field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including inventory, pricing, and risk mitigation.
• Lead supply chain forecasting and reporting in collaboration with Regional Material Leaders, ensuring proper implementation and feedback.
• Develop supply chain tools, processes, and training as organizational standards, while supporting excellent customer service and understanding market conditions and customer contracts.
• Partner with the market sector team to develop revenue-growth strategies and execute cost-reduction strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop strong supply chain sector teams, hold staff accountable for results, grow talent, and lead strategic cost-reduction initiatives for the region.
• Exemplify and hold the team accountable for demonstrating Plexus Core Values.
• Evaluate employee potential, drive succession planning, and ensure employees receive development and coaching to realize their full potential.
