Director, Supply Chain Business Intelligence
About The Position
The Supply Chain Business Intelligence Director leads the strategy, development, and execution of advanced analytics, data governance, and digital enablement across the end-to-end supply chain. This role transforms data into actionable insights that improve service, cost, inventory, resilience, and decision-making across demand, supply, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics. High-quality analytics are critical to enabling fact-based planning, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement. The Supply Chain BI Director serves as the enterprise expert in supply chain analytics, data architecture, performance management, and advanced modeling, partnering closely with Supply Chain leadership, Finance, IT, and Commercial teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, data science, or supply chain planning, with 5–7 years in people and analytics leadership roles
- Strong end-to-end understanding of demand, supply, inventory, manufacturing, and logistics processe
- Advanced capability in descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, including scenario modeling and optimization
- Strong understanding of S&OP processes and how analytics supports executive decision-making
- Highly proficient in Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and supply chain systems; SAP experience required
- Ability to connect analytics to business strategy and operational execution
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders using data-driven insights
- Excellent ability to translate complex data into clear stories and recommendations
- Experience building and leading high-performing analytics teams
- Curious, structured, and solutions-oriented; comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Ability to quantify financial impact related to inventory, service, cost, and working capital
Nice To Haves
- Masters Degree in Data Science/APICS CPIM / CSCP preferred; Lean, Six Sigma, or analytics certifications strongly preferred
