About The Position

At Avicado, we help some of the world's largest organizations make better decisions through technology, data, and process optimization. Our consultants partner directly with Fortune 500 clients to solve complex business challenges across construction, operations, finance, and supply chain. We're looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant who enjoys solving business problems with data. This person will partner with Supply Chain and Operations teams to design reporting solutions, automate manual processes, build scalable data pipelines, and develop dashboards that enable smarter decision-making. You'll thrive in this role if you're equally comfortable talking with business stakeholders, writing SQL, building dashboards, and identifying opportunities to improve how data flows across enterprise systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or similar roles.
Advanced SQL experience.
Experience designing enterprise dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
Experience integrating data from multiple business systems.
Experience supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Construction organizations.
Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
Experience developing KPIs and executive reporting.
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Node.js web applications.
Professional Python experience for automation or ETL development.
Experience with modern ETL orchestration tools.
Experience working with ERP systems.
Experience integrating systems such as Procore, Oracle Unifier, Primavera P6, SAP, Oracle ERP, O9 or similar enterprise platforms.
Experience working in Agile consulting environments.

Responsibilities

Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Project teams to understand reporting and analytics needs.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards and KPI reporting.
Build and optimize SQL queries, views, and data models that support operational reporting.
Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems into centralized reporting solutions.
Improve data quality, governance, and documentation across reporting environments.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with software engineers and business partners to develop internal data applications.
Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes.
Leverage AI tools responsibly to improve development efficiency and accelerate solution delivery.
