The ideal applicant will possess the ability to solve hard problems, learn quickly in a constantly changing environment, work well on a team, is highly organized and articulate, and can effectively communicate complex topics to qualified but non-specialist internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of supply chain experience in the solar or electric utility industry.
  • B.S. in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of CCE, including executives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in strategic category management for High Voltage Equipment (transformers and breakers, specifically)
  • Experience in direct support of capital construction projects
  • Experience developing processes and procedures
  • Experience with strategy/forecasting/communication a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic procurement initiatives in support of CCE’s project development and project construction organizations
  • Plan procurement of major equipment with Development, Engineering, and Project Management for allocation to projects
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders from other departments
  • Issue, manage, and evaluate RFPs for equipment procurement
  • Take lead in negotiation of equipment supply agreements.
  • Ensure equipment meets stakeholder bankability, performance, and reliability standards.
  • Manage logistics and scheduling equipment ensuring on time delivery
  • Support and maintain supplier relationships, with a specific focus on PV modules, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), inverters, racking, transformers, and breakers
  • Be a subject matter expert on supply chain industry trends, technology evolution, and market dynamics.
  • Manage the company view on forward looking product costs and performance roadmaps utilizing vendor relationships and market research
  • Collect and report global market, commodity and policy assessment updates.
  • Follow, manage, and update company policies as necessary.
