The Director, Student Support, Rights and Responsibilities is responsible for leading, directing and administering all activities and functions related to student accountability and support under college policy (academic and non-academic), including behavioural intervention, violence, threat and risk assessment, sexualized violence and misconduct, human rights, student rights and responsibilities and student support. The Director is responsible for adjudications, investigations and interventions that pertain to student conduct or concerning student behaviour and to ensure information, advice and direction is provided to students, faculty, staff, and administration on student behavioural issues and matters of student conduct and academic integrity. This position provides leadership, guidance, and support to the College community on all forms of student conduct management, conflict resolution, restorative justice, behavioural intervention and support and threat assessment as they pertain to students. The Director develops student-related policies and procedures and implements education and outreach strategies that promote awareness and understanding of all aspects of the portfolio. The Director acts on behalf of the Associate Vice-President Students on related projects and initiatives when required. This position operates independently with general direction from the Associate Vice-President Students.
