About The Position

The Director, Student Services is responsible for creating and supporting a high-quality student life experience for all students at St. Luke's College of Health Sciences. Creates, implements, and facilitates opportunities for co-curricular learning and student leadership development. Promotes proactive retention activities and student engagement. Functions as a student advocate by responding directly to student needs and issues affecting student well-being.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
Minimum of five years in higher education student Services position.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree in related field preferred.
Hands-on experience with a student information system (e.g., Jenzabar, SONIS, Banner, Salesforce) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Establishes the direction, goals, implementation strategies, and policies of the Office of Student Services.
Develops and markets student initiatives and programming that will promote high-quality student life experiences and holistic well-being.
Develops and implements a Learning Resource Center to provide academic support to students in addition to support offered by faulty.
Manages Complio ensuring that all students’ required documents are received and completed per policies (i.e. health assessment forms, child abuse clearance, fingerprinting, etc.).
Develops and implements programs to address students’ requests for learning and/or other forms of accommodation.
In Coordination with the Title IX Coordinator, addresses issues, events, and concerns related to prohibited conduct and/or Title IX policies and procedures.
Stays abreast of campus services, programs, resources, and other opportunities to aid in the retention of all students.
Directs students to resources, policies, and procedures to address personal or academic concerns.
Works with faculty, staff, and administration to address and respond to student concerns and needs.
Designs and coordinates a college-wide tutoring program.
