At Johnson & Johnson, Quality & Compliance is grounded in Our Credo—because everything we do must be of high quality. Our global, functionally independent organization helps ensure products are designed, manufactured, and delivered effectively across the end-to-end product lifecycle, while strengthening a culture of quality, transparent risk management, and continuous improvement. The Director, Strategy and Portfolio Management leads the planning, governance, and performance reporting that helps Quality & Compliance deliver on its highest-priority commitments. This role shapes executive-ready narratives for critical business-cycle deliverables (e.g., Board updates, Enterprise Quality Reviews, and Executive Committee materials) by translating our actions, metrics, and execution progress into compelling narratives on value, impact, and risk mitigation. The Director partners with our sectors to align Q&C goals, track outcomes against enterprise priorities, and continuously improve portfolio management processes, templates, and reporting. Equally critically, this leader advances strategic initiatives—building business cases, establishing governance, and driving execution and change management—while serving as the Q&C representative on cross-functional programs and coaching project teams to deliver measurable impact. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Strategic Insights & Performance Management and works closely with the Chief Quality Officer and Q&C Leadership Team.
