About The Position

Function Health is hiring a Director, Strategy and Operations to serve as the strategic and operational engine behind its Marketing & Communications organization. The role combines chief-of-staff, strategy, and operations responsibilities. The Director will own the organization’s planning cadence, budget, and prioritization process; build systems and tools that help the team work efficiently; and serve as a trusted thought partner to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. The role brings structure and rigor to a fast-moving, high-visibility organization while preserving its creativity and speed. The Director will partner with the CMCO and function leads on annual and quarterly planning, establish the organization’s operating rhythm, and translate strategy into execution plans and accountability. They will manage budgets, vendors, contracts, procurement, technology, and reporting; prepare executive and board materials; represent Marketing & Communications in cross-company planning; and unblock initiatives across teams. The role is a founding member of the Marketing & Communications leadership team and may build out a Strategy & Operations function as the organization scales.
