As Director, Strategy & Market Insights, you will lead a team responsible for shaping Workplace’s strategic direction by connecting market intelligence, client insights, competitive analysis, and business strategy. This role plays a critical part in helping leaders make informed decisions about growth opportunities, market positioning, segmentation, pricing, partnerships, and long-term competitive advantage. Success in this role requires balancing strategic thinking with execution, translating complex qualitative and quantitative insights into clear recommendations that drive business outcomes. You will partner across strategy, analytics, product, sales, marketing, finance, technology, and operations to solve complex challenges, align stakeholders, and advance key executive priorities. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, market insights, or a related field.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience with a track record of coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Experience leading enterprise strategy, growth strategy, market assessments, competitive analysis, client insights, segmentation, pricing strategy, partnerships, and/or business case development.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated problem solving capabilities and sound judgment in complex, ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and align senior leaders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and organizational levels.
- Experience developing executive presentations, strategic narratives, and decision-oriented communications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Nice To Haves
- MBA or other post-graduate education.
- 10+ years of experience within financial services and/or a top-tier consulting organization.
- Knowledge of retirement services, workplace financial services, financial markets, or fee-based investment advisory businesses.
- Experience leading market research, client research, scenario planning, and competitive intelligence programs.
- Strong visual storytelling and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Demonstrated growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and ability to lead through influence.
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams, strategic planning processes, or Chief of Staff responsibilities.
