About The Position

Mesh is hiring a Director, Strategic Finance & Operations to own the company’s financial planning and operating agenda. The role manages budgeting, forecasting, board financials, acquisition-related finance, capital allocation, and the company’s operating cadence, including OKRs and business reviews. It leads the team responsible for revenue and finance systems and requires hands-on work with data, modeling, and AI tools, as well as the ability to bring structure and challenge senior leaders with evidence. The position partners with leaders across Finance, BizOps, Corporate Development, Accounting, Sales, Product, and the executive team. It owns reporting and metric definitions across payments volume, monetization, unit economics, retention, growth, efficiency, and cash. Success includes running the FY27 budget and reforecast, establishing shared metrics and regular reviews, and delivering timely board financials; within six months, the role is expected to establish quarterly budget reviews and OKR reviews, develop product-level unit economics, and implement a diligence model template for deals.
