About The Position

People Incorporated is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Director, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations for an important role within the Office of the CFO. This role will serve as a key support for the senior leadership team, with visibility into and participation in strategic initiatives, investor relations, and executive-level decision-making. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in corporate finance, exceptional analytical capabilities, and experience operating in high-performance environments. This individual will work cross-functionally across finance and operations and play a key role in driving strategic insights, financial analysis, and executive communications. This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
4–7 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, strategic finance, FP&A, or related fields.
Strong foundation in corporate finance, financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis.
Exceptional PowerPoint or Google Suite presentation development skills with the ability to create polished executive- and Board-level materials.
Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and intellectual curiosity.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and execute complex projects with minimal oversight.
Strong business judgment and strategic mindset.
Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.

Nice To Haves

MBA or advanced degree a plus but not required.
Experience supporting public company reporting, investor relations, or executive communications.

Responsibilities

Prepare Board of Directors and executive-level materials, including financial performance updates, strategic initiative progress reports, and key business insights.
Support the Investor Relations function by coordinating and managing quarterly earnings processes and logistics, including earnings release, investor deck and earnings call preparation, as well as ongoing analyst and shareholder analysis and communication.
Partner with senior management on strategic finance initiatives, including capital allocation, share repurchase, and sum-of-the-parts (SOTP) analyses to support executive decision-making and strategic planning.
Maintain and enhance strategic finance reference materials, including valuation analyses, cap table scenarios, peer benchmarking, and key internal performance metrics.
Lead complex financial modeling, business analysis, and ad hoc analytical projects to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Develop high-quality presentations and executive communications for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide support across broader finance functions and special projects as needed.
