Thomasville Restoration's vision is to be the #1 most trusted and respected restoration company. To help achieve this goal and support our growth, we are adding a Director of Specialty Services. The Director of Specialty Services leads specialty service operations across a multi-state region. This role owns operational execution, documentation accuracy, and financial performance while ensuring strong coordination across departments and scalable systems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of restoration experience in contents, specialty services, or related operations.
  • Experience managing a fast-paced, detail-driven 24/7 operation.
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and job auditing skills.
  • Strong understanding of documentation, billing, and operational workflows.
  • Experience working across departments and managing complexity.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and systems-thinking abilities.
  • Experience with DASH, Xactimate, ICAT, or similar platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • IICRC certifications preferred, including FSRT and OCT, in conjunction with OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 24/7 specialty service operations across a multi-state region.
  • Ensure all work is executed, documented, and billed accurately.
  • Drive consistency in documentation, inventories, and job file quality.
  • Oversee workflow and ensure strong coordination across departments.
  • Enforce adherence to the TVR Playbook and disciplined use of KnowHow.
  • Implement and improve systems for inventory management, tracking, and documentation accuracy.
  • Partner with HR to handle disciplinary or corrective action plans.
  • Build and develop a high-performing, accountable team.
  • Own hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development programs.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and establish clear expectations.
  • Own divisional P&L performance, including cost control and profitability.
  • Review and approve job costs, invoices, and financial allocations.
  • Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, documentation accuracy, and margin.
  • Participate in annual planning and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure documentation supports billing, claims, and carrier expectations while reducing disputes.
  • Maintain strong alignment with estimating, mitigation, reconstruction, and accounting teams.
