About The Position

We have an opportunity for an Associate Director, Finance (Clinical & Specialist Services) to join our team. In this role, you will lead financial planning and analysis for the site, including monthly actuals, forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial support for customer negotiations. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on site operations and business success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum ten years of progressive Finance experience, including five years of finance leadership experience with a medium to large organization
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Experience in biologics or pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) industry
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturer
  • Experience with ERP systems required and knowledge of JDE and OneStream
  • Experience with Lean implementation

Responsibilities

  • Directs and manages the accounting function, develops and maintains policies, procedures and budgetary controls
  • Provide financial decision support to the site
  • Manage the performance and professional development of the Finance team
  • Lead finance team members
  • Revenue Recognition expertise is required. Understanding multiple element arrangements revenue guidance is necessary. Documenting the policy and instructing the site and maintain appropriate controls on this process is essential
  • Complete analysis of proposed investments and other projects
  • Development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Manage internal/external audit support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
