Director Special Projects-M&A
About The Position
This role provides enterprise-wide leadership for strategic initiatives, primarily mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and complex special projects. The Director leads the development and execution of corporate strategy by evaluating investment opportunities, partnership structures, and transformational initiatives. The position directs cross-functional teams across finance, accounting, tax, treasury, legal, and business development to drive transaction strategy, due diligence, valuation, and execution. The Director advises executive leadership, helps shape long-term strategic direction, and ensures disciplined financial analysis supports critical decisions. The role is hybrid and requires on-site presence three days per week in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Travel may be needed to support transactions and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 10 or more years of experience focused on financial analysis, valuation, or a related area.
- Significant leadership experience in M&A or corporate strategy.
- Experience leading complex transactions.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Executive communication and influencing skills.
Nice To Haves
- MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Experience in energy or capital-intensive industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level M&A strategy and pipeline development.
