Requirements

  • Strategic Planning: Develops and implements long term supply chain strategies that align with the business segment's goals and objectives.
  • Supply Chain Management Expertise: Possesses deep knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Leads and motivates cross functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve supply chain objectives.
  • Financial Acumen: Manages budgets, forecasts financial performance, and ensures cost effective supply chain operations.
  • Data Analysis and Decision Making: Utilizes data analytics to inform strategic decisions, optimize supply chain performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicates with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of supply chain initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identifies potential supply chain risks and develops mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and other key stakeholders to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluates and enhances supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Technological Proficiency: Leverages advanced supply chain technologies and systems to streamline operations and support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Supply Chain Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the business segment’s goals, ensuring efficient integration of procurement, production, and distribution processes.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily supply chain operations, including inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting, to maintain optimal performance and meet service level agreements.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and enhances overall team productivity.
  • Supplier and Partner Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and driving initiatives for continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Monitor supply chain performance metrics, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support the business segment’s objectives.
