About The Position

As a Director, Solution Architect, AI-Native Engineering, you will design and implement innovative technology solutions that address client business needs within PwC’s Internal Firm Services practice. You will set strategic direction, lead multiple initiatives, shape executive-level relationships, translate vision into action, promote new ideas, and guide the development of future leaders. You will oversee solution architecture efforts, balance long-term and near-term priorities, and advance technology capabilities that support seamless integration, platform design, and effective delivery across engagements. The role sets solution architecture direction for AI-native engineering initiatives across client engagements and internal technology programs. It translates business requirements into scalable technical designs and guides architecture for enterprise platforms, cloud environments, infrastructure, software, data flow, and application interoperability. The Director also develops technical standards and roadmaps, advises leaders on technology choices and delivery tradeoffs, mentors architects and engineering teams, and ensures that architecture decisions support scalability, security, integration, and long-term platform sustainability. Travel requirements are up to 40%.

Requirements

At least a high school diploma or equivalent degree.
At least 8 years of experience.

AI-native engineering architecture experience across client engagements.

Responsibilities

Set solution architecture direction for AI-native engineering initiatives across client engagements and internal technology programs.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs supporting platform integration, data flow, and application interoperability.
Lead architecture reviews for cloud, infrastructure, and software solutions, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
Guide the design of enterprise architecture, system architecture, and information architecture patterns for modern technology ecosystems.
Evaluate emerging AI tools, development methods, and automation capabilities to shape future technology roadmaps.
Develop technical standards, architecture principles, and implementation guidance for engineering teams delivering complex solutions.
Advise leaders on feasibility, technology choices, and delivery tradeoffs across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Mentor architects and engineering teams while strengthening solution design practices across the broader organization.
Build executive-level relationships to align technology strategy with business goals and delivery priorities.
Validate that architecture decisions support scalability, security, integration, and long-term platform sustainability.
Oversee solution architecture efforts, balance long-term and near-term priorities, and advance technology capabilities that support seamless integration, platform design, and effective delivery across engagements.
