About The Position

The Director, Site Operations oversees all facility and transportation responsibilities and leads the assigned business unit’s warehouse operations. The role translates business vision and strategy into operational tactics, adjusts plans to organizational, regulatory, and market needs, and recommends programs to improve warehouse performance. It develops and monitors operating and capital budgets, drives KPIs, reports business results to management, and identifies efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities. The Director also leads and develops the operations team, supports employee training and motivation, fosters accountability and engagement, maintains operational accuracy, and ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local statutes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and warehouse environments.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage others.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to develop and lead highly productive teams focused on individual accountability.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all facility and transportation responsibilities.

• Prioritize and adjust strategic plans and initiatives in response to organizational, regulatory, or market needs.

• Recommend programs to the Regional Operations Director to improve warehouse operations.
• Monitor local market conditions that affect business results and adjust accordingly.
• Report sales, operational and financial results, and other information and documentation to management and supervisors.
• Drive KPIs for the assigned business unit.
• Identify efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities and help implement changes in inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Identify problems, propose solutions to management, and promote cooperation with other departments.
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets.
• Help develop programs to train and motivate personnel for greater effectiveness.
• Lead and develop the operations team to deliver strong customer service and productive performance.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations.
• Ensure operations comply with federal, state, and local statutes.
