The Director of Employment Law will be instrumental in leading the Employment Law Function at Samsung Electronics America (SEA) and North America Headquarters (NAHQ) divisions on areas of employment and labor law compliance, including equal opportunity laws, leave and accommodation laws, wage and hour laws, pay equity, labor law, benefits law, and internal policy development and training. This position will handle supervising and directing employment law compliance and risk management through management of and adherence to policies and employment laws. This role serves as the key advisor to the People Team, advising on and partnering to develop strategy for employment law compliance and risk/reputation management. This role will be based in Plano, TX, and may require travel to other Samsung offices in North America.
