About The Position
As the Director, Security Management, you will ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, volunteers and visitors at ProMedica by organizing and coordinating Security operations at various ProMedica campuses. You will plan and maintain a protective and preventive security system and coordinate a visitor control and access procedure. In this role, you will develop and present the employee safety session at new employee general orientation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Working knowledge of access control, video monitoring, visitor management and parking operations
- 5 years management experience in the security field.
- Valid Driver’s License and compliance with the driving criteria in risk management policy 125.43.
- I.A.H.S.S. Supervisor Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate Security operations at various ProMedica campuses.
- Plan and maintain a protective and preventive security system.
- Coordinate a visitor control and access procedure.
- Develop and present the employee safety session at new employee general orientation.
- Supervise security over 3 teams: Fremont, Fostoria, and Defiance.
