Director, Sales Enablement

SetpointNew York, NY
$190,000 - $210,000Hybrid

About The Position

Setpoint is building the infrastructure that powers credit relationships, enabling banks, credit funds, asset managers, and capital markets counterparties to operate with trust and efficiency. We're hiring a Director of Sales Enablement to build a gold-standard enablement function from scratch, including playbooks, training, content, and onboarding. This role reports to the VP of Sales, offers significant decision-making authority, and will directly shape the company's revenue trajectory. This is an opportunity to build a new function rather than inherit an existing one.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years in sales or revenue enablement.
  • A track record of building enablement programs from the ground up.
  • Strong analytical skills, fluency in data, ability to build models or business cases, and translate analysis into action.
  • A strong point of view on applying AI to GTM, with hands-on implementation experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts into usable sales narratives.
  • A bias for action and extreme ownership; a 'ship, then iterate' mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fintech, capital markets, structured credit, asset-backed finance, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.
  • Prior experience hiring or managing an enablement team.

Responsibilities

  • Build the onboarding infrastructure to quickly bring new Account Executives (AEs) to full productivity, including role-based learning paths, certifications, and role plays.
  • Develop rigorous training on asset-backed finance and end-user experiences, including persona guides and conversation frameworks for key buyers.
  • Identify patterns from top performers using data from Gong and win/loss analysis to create playbooks, discovery guides, objection-handling frameworks, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop use case libraries, prompt frameworks, and training to leverage AI tools and the broader tech stack for Go-To-Market (GTM) productivity.
  • Define and report on key metrics such as ramp time, certification completion, knowledge scores, and tool adoption.
  • Build and maintain a scalable knowledge repository.

Benefits

  • Direct access to leadership, including the VP of Sales and CEO.
  • Opportunity for outsized impact by building the enablement function from scratch.
  • Involvement in a hypergrowth stage Series B fintech company.
  • Career trajectory opportunities in GTM strategy, sales leadership, or revenue operations.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k).
  • Short- and long-term disability.
  • Flexible vacation.
