Ascension Via Christi St Francis is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation Services in Wichita, KS. This full-time role offers a salary range of $119,404.80 - $161,547.06 per year and is eligible for an annual bonus incentive. Requirements

  • Audiologist credentialed from the Kansas Adult Care Home Administrators, Audiologists, Dietitians and Speech-Language Pathologists obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • At least 3–5 years of working as a physical therapist (PT), occupational therapist (OT), or speech-language pathologist (SLP)
  • At least 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting overseeing a team.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for rehabilitative services.
  • Develop strategic goals, plans and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepare budgets for service area, ensure compliance, coordinate and direct audits.
  • Direct and evaluate clinical activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
