About The Position

The PMO Director is responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously improving Dewpoint’s enterprise project management discipline, methodologies, governance, portfolio management capabilities, and delivery excellence standards. Working in concert with the Vice President of Service Delivery this role will define, implement, and institutionalize “The Dewpoint Way”— a scalable, repeatable framework for project execution that reflects Dewpoint’s core values of customer experience, integrity, teamwork, agility, learning, accountability, and profitable growth. The PMO Director will leverage artificial intelligence (AI), automation, advanced analytics, and portfolio management practices to drive operational efficiency, improve project outcomes, increase organizational visibility, and support profitable revenue growth. This leader will develop AI-enabled workflows, executive portfolio dashboards, KPI frameworks, delivery standards, governance processes, and performance measurement systems that enable Dewpoint to scale consistently while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
10+ years of project, program, or portfolio management experience.
5+ years leading project delivery, or transformations involving people, process, and technology.
Experience building PMO functions from the ground up.
Proven success implementing portfolio management and governance frameworks.
Experience leading digital transformation, business process improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
Experience deploying AI, analytics, automation, or business intelligence solutions in delivery environments.
Must be local to Lansing, Michigan for onsite interviews and on-site work requirements.
Must hear and speak well enough to conduct business over the telephone or face to face (in English) for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Establish and lead the enterprise PMO function.
Develop and execute a multi-year PMO maturity roadmap aligned with business growth objectives.
Define governance models, project lifecycle standards, and delivery frameworks.
Serve as the owner of project management methodologies, standards, templates, tools, and reporting with direct support from the Vice President of Service Delivery.
Introduce transparency across all project portfolios such that departmental and individual accountability may become commonplace.
Design and implement a standardized project delivery methodology known as “The Dewpoint Way.”
Establish best practices for project intake, discovery, planning, project staffing, execution, risk management, client communication, scope management, cost management, quality assurance, change management, and project closure.
Create playbooks, templates, training materials, and governance procedures.
Ensure delivery practices reflect Dewpoint’s commitment to customer experience, integrity, teamwork, agile execution, and performance accountability.
Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned, project retrospectives, and knowledge-sharing programs.
Identify and implement AI technologies that improve project planning, execution, reporting, forecasting, and resource management.
Develop AI-powered workflows that automate project status reporting, generate project summaries and executive briefings, predict schedule and budget risks, identify resource constraints, improve capacity planning, accelerate project documentation creation, and support knowledge management and project intelligence.
Partner with business leaders to identify automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and client outcomes.
Establish governance and responsible AI practices for project management processes.
