Position Summary: The Director, Portfolio Management owns the performance of Vivint's product and service portfolio across customer and market segments. This role is accountable for the health and trajectory of the portfolio: deciding where to invest, where to maintain investment, and where to exit; setting and driving performance targets across products and segments; and running the governance that keeps GTM, Product Marketing and Finance leadership aligned on portfolio priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in portfolio management, GTM/revenue operations, product operations, or business management roles with direct accountability for business or portfolio outcomes, ideally in a subscription, consumer technology, or direct-sales-driven business.
3+ years of experience managing or leading a team.
Experience owning or managing a product, segment, or channel portfolio against performance targets — not solely analyzing one — is strongly preferred.
Experience with recurring-revenue/subscription & advertising business models is strongly preferred.
Strong business and commercial judgment; comfort making and owning investment and lifecycle decisions across a portfolio.
Track record of managing a portfolio, product line, or business unit to performance targets, including course-correcting underperformance.
Working fluency with financial and performance data (forecasting, unit economics, portfolio/segment-level P&L) sufficient to direct — not necessarily build — the underlying analysis.
Strong executive presence and cross-functional influence; able to drive alignment and decisions among GTM, product, and finance leaders, not just report to them.
People leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing a portfolio/performance management team.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end performance of Vivint's product, service, and customer-segment portfolio — accountable for results, not just visibility into security monitoring revenue, other recurring revenue streams and hardware.
Set portfolio-level performance targets and manage the portfolio actively against them, escalating and course-correcting when products, segments, or channels underperform.
Make and drive investment, resourcing, and lifecycle decisions across the portfolio — which products or segments to grow, sustain, or sunset — in partnership with GTM, product, and finance leadership.
Manage the portfolio's contribution to overall GTM economics, including recurring revenue mix, channel profitability, and customer lifetime value across Direct to Home, Inside Sales, eCommerce and Channel Sales.
Run the governance cadence for the portfolio — business reviews, scorecards, and prioritization forums — that holds GTM, product, marketing, sales, and finance accountable for portfolio results.
Act as the executive owner of portfolio-level decisions in cross-functional planning forums, driving alignment rather than simply presenting data.
Represent the portfolio's performance and priorities in executive business reviews and owns the follow-through on resulting decisions.
Own portfolio-level forecasting and scenario planning to support annual and quarterly GTM planning cycles, in partnership with Finance and multiple Sales operation organizations.
Deliver regular executive-level reporting on portfolio performance against targets, with a clear narrative on variance drivers.
Support Marketing decisions with data on customer segment behavior, price sensitivity and plan/tier performance.
Maintain the scorecards and dashboards needed to manage the portfolio day to day (e.g., recurring revenue mix, attach rates, churn, customer acquisition cost, contract term performance).
Direct a small team of associates who support portfolio management with recurring and ad hoc analysis; final accountability for portfolio decisions sits with this role.
Hire, coach, and develop a team focused on portfolio management and performance — a mix of portfolio/program managers and supporting analysts.
Set team priorities around portfolio outcomes and build portfolio-management discipline and capability across the broader GTM organization.
