About The Position

Tempo is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for their enterprise platform. This role is for a leader who can transition the company from a "native utility" to a globally recognized, platform-agnostic enterprise brand. The individual will be responsible for influencing executive buyers and strategic leaders within complex global organizations. Tempo offers a suite of integrated solutions for time management, resource planning, budget management, roadmapping, program management, and reporting. Founded in 2007, Tempo has become the #1 time management add-on for Jira and is a trusted name in the Atlassian ecosystem. The company aims to help people work better and smarter through continuous innovation and the creation of new solutions.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years in B2B SaaS Product Marketing.
  • Proven track record of launching flagship products and scaling GTM functions in the $50M–$200M ARR range.
  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees and tailoring narratives for CEO, CFO, and IT Lead.
  • Experience building co-marketing strategies that empower partners.
  • Ability to set a 3-year market vision and execute on tactical tasks like refining value propositions or sales playbooks.
  • Obsessed with win rates, pipeline velocity, and expansion revenue.
  • Understanding of the financial metrics of a successful enterprise GTM engine.

Responsibilities

  • Define and validate Enterprise and Mid-Market Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), from C-Suite to technical practitioners, through customer interviews and sales feedback.
  • Develop "better together" narratives for Global System Integrators (GSIs) and Solution Partners to enable them to lead with Tempo in enterprise transformations.
  • Act as the "voice of the market" by partnering with Product Management to influence the roadmap based on enterprise requirements.
  • Own the strategy for enterprise pricing, packaging, and bundling to maximize Annual Contract Value (ACV) and simplify the buying process.
  • Develop high-impact sales enablement assets, including competitive "kill sheets," executive pitch decks, and discovery frameworks.
  • Shift the market narrative from "PPM for Jira" to a standalone, agnostic platform, bridging technical capability with executive value.

Benefits

  • Impactful work on products that improve enterprise user productivity.
  • Culture valuing creativity and innovation.
  • Supportive, collaborative UX team environment.
  • Opportunities for professional development (conferences, courses, mentorship).
  • Remote-first work environment.
  • Unlimited vacation (in most locations).
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Savings plan.
  • Training reimbursement.
  • Work From Home (WFH) reimbursement.
  • Diverse and dynamic teams.
  • Opportunity to make a real impact on the business.
  • Social activities (in-person and virtual).
  • Optional in-person meet-ups.
  • Ability to travel to international offices.
  • Employee referral program.
