About The Position

As a Director on Capital One’s Associate Experience product team, you will connect employees (Associates) with simple, digitally enriched experiences that enhance their work experience. You will own and evolve the Workplace Experience Platform, which securely connects internal data and workflows to tools Associates use every day, including the One Place intranet, Slack, and AI assistants such as Gemini and Claude. The platform is intended to provide governed, scalable core connections—such as associate identity, workflow rules, and approval tasks—so new internal tools and AI models can integrate consistently.

You will define and steward the platform’s strategy across a three-phase roadmap: Consolidate (“One Place to look”), Connect (“one place to act”), and Anticipate (“the platform comes to you”). You will direct product execution, advance adoption and transformation of the One Place web and mobile experience through enablement programs, and work across lines of business to establish governance, consolidate AI initiatives, and build a cohesive ecosystem.

The role requires proficiency in Capital One’s Product Framework: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership. The position is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least 5 years of Product Management experience.

Nice To Haves

• Product expertise with best-in-class generative AI products such as Claude, Gemini, or Glean.
• Experience establishing and working with agentic frameworks and LLM orchestration protocols.
• Track record defining long-term digital strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, and implementing governance standards to manage risk.
• Experience managing product management teams, including leading and mentoring senior-level direct reports.
• Strong background serving as a primary liaison between Product, Engineering, Data/ML teams, and senior executive leadership.
• Experience developing user enablement programs and standardizing interaction patterns for emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and steward the end-to-end Workplace Experience Platform strategy across the Consolidate, Connect, and Anticipate roadmap phases.
• Direct a product team to drive business value, prioritize what ships, and build solutions aligned with the platform’s goals.
• Champion adoption and transformation of the One Place intranet web and mobile experience through programs that improve workforce proficiency.
• Collaborate across lines of business to establish governance protocols, consolidate disparate AI initiatives, and build a cohesive ecosystem.
• Lead cross-functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment.
• Connect internal data and workflows with tools Associates use, establishing core capabilities such as associate identity, workflow rules, and approval tasks.
