About The Position

Salesforce is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead their Slackforce Architecture team and own the foundational platform layer that powers every Slack and Salesforce integration. This role involves driving product strategy and execution of a business-critical integration, powering shared data models, authentication, identity, integrated billing capabilities, and a reimagined, Slack-first CRM experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, including time in a platform, infrastructure, or architecture role.
• Experience with enterprise data models, integration architecture, and/or identity systems.
• Track record driving technical decisions across engineering teams without direct authority.
• Clear communicator, able to dig into technical implementation and translate tradeoffs into business terms.
• Ability to break down and deliver on complex platform capabilities at high velocity.
• Strong collaboration with other product and cross-functional teams.
• A related technical degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the Salesforce platform (data model, metadata, Apex).
• Familiarity with Slack's platform primitives.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical product strategy for how Slack and Salesforce systems integrate, delivering near-term, incremental wins while keeping an eye on building a scalable and sustainable platform.
• Partner closely with engineering and product leads across Slack and Salesforce to align on Architecture features with the broader Slack and Salesforce strategies.
• Own feature delivery through inception, build, and launch, all while tracking key customer feedback and metrics.
• Manage automatic authentication and identity mapping for users, acting as the connective tissue between Slack and Salesforce for secure user access.
• Oversee automatic tenant provisioning, enabling customers to provision a Salesforce instance from their Slack team or vice versa.
• Develop the admin experience for Slackforce features, providing Salesforce and Slack Admins with cohesive controls and visibility.
• Build unified testing capabilities for Admins to foster trust in AI-first CRM capabilities across Salesforce and Slack.
