About The Position

Slack is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead our Slackforce Architecture team and own the foundational platform layer that powers every Slack and Salesforce integration. This is an amazing opportunity for a technical product leader to drive product strategy and execution of a business-critical integration, powering shared data models, authentication, identity, integrated billing capabilities, and a reimagined, Slack-first CRM experience.

Requirements

7+ years of product management experience, including time in a platform, infrastructure, or architecture role
Experience with enterprise data models, integration architecture, and/or identity systems
Track record driving technical decisions across engineering teams without direct authority
Clear communicator, able to dig into technical implementation and translate tradeoffs into business terms
Ability to break down and deliver on complex platform capabilities at high velocity
Strong collaboration with other product and cross-functional teams
A related technical degree required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the Salesforce platform (data model, metadata, Apex) and Slack's platform primitives

Responsibilities

Set the technical product strategy for how Slack and Salesforce systems integrate, delivering near-term, incremental wins while keeping an eye building a scalable and sustainable platform
Partner closely with engineering and product leads across Slack and Salesforce to align on Architecture features with the broader Slack and Salesforce strategies.
Own feature delivery through inception, build, and launch, all while tracking key customer feedback and metrics.
Automatic authentication and identity mapping for users
Automatic tenant provisioning
Admin experience for Slackforce features
Unified testing capabilities for Admins
