Lineage Logistics•Farmington Hills, MI

About The Position

Lineage is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead its Data Solutions portfolio: central data repositories, enterprise reporting and analytics products, and business tools such as metricsOne, its proprietary KPI and performance management platform. These products support decision-making across functions and regions and form the data foundation for Lineage’s analytics and AI ambitions. The Director will own the portfolio’s multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap, and lead an established team of product managers and business analysts. The role is accountable for improving product quality and adoption, evolving the platform for advanced analytics and AI capabilities, and ensuring the business trusts and acts on the data the products deliver. It works closely with product, data engineering, data science, enterprise architecture, governance, finance, operations, and stakeholders across the company.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years directly managing and developing product managers.
  • Demonstrated success owning data, analytics, or business intelligence products at enterprise scale, such as data platforms, enterprise reporting, KPI or dashboarding tools, or data-as-a-product initiatives.
  • Strong technical acumen with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or equivalent, BI and visualization tools, and fundamentals of data modeling, pipelines, and governance.
  • Ability to engage credibly with engineers and data scientists.
  • Proven ability to inherit an existing product portfolio and team, build credibility quickly, and drive a step-change in strategy, execution, and outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including conveying complex data concepts to non-technical audiences and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including the C-suite.
  • Proven ability to lead change in large, complex, global organizations and operate in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering AI/ML-enabled product capabilities or preparing data platforms to support machine learning and generative AI use cases.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or other operationally intensive industries; warehouse operations exposure is a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise information management domains such as financial, operational, HR, or ESG reporting.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and analytical tools (SQL, Excel).
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams and third-party development partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data Solutions portfolio, including central data repositories, enterprise reporting, KPI and performance management tools, and analytics products.
  • Lead, coach, and develop product managers and business analysts; set priorities, raise product craft standards, and build a pipeline of talent.
  • Treat the data platform as a product by defining and prioritizing capabilities, data domains, and quality standards for current reporting needs and emerging analytics and AI use cases.
  • Partner with data engineering, data science, and enterprise architecture to align platform investment with product strategy while balancing new capabilities, reliability, scalability, and technical debt.
  • Work with data governance, finance, and operations stakeholders to promote data trust, consistent definitions, certified metrics, and a single source of truth for business-critical reporting.
  • Drive adoption and measurable business impact by establishing portfolio success metrics, instrumenting usage, retiring low-value assets, and holding the team accountable for outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders from frontline warehouse leaders to the C-suite, understand their decision-making needs, translate those needs into product requirements, and communicate roadmap decisions.
  • Coordinate with product leaders across the technology organization to align roadmaps, share data capabilities, and support cohesive execution across interconnected products.
  • Facilitate annual and quarterly portfolio planning, making trade-offs across value, scope, budget, resources, dependencies, and timelines.
