About The Position

Motive is seeking a Director of Product to lead its vehicle monitoring and compliance product areas, which together drive several hundred million dollars in revenue. Vehicle monitoring gives fleets real-time visibility into the location and status of vehicles, while compliance helps drivers and fleets meet transportation regulations and avoid fines, out-of-service orders, and safety risks. These products are central to customers’ daily operations and to Motive’s business. The role leads a team of product managers and works across the company to deliver results. The Director partners with Sales on strategic enterprise deals and with Engineering leaders on complex technical tradeoffs, grounds decisions in data and evidence, and leads large-scale organizational change. As a player-coach, the Director contributes directly while developing and inspiring the broader team. The role is high-visibility, with significant scope and responsibility for setting priorities and delivering impact with focused resources. The position follows a hybrid work model, with work in Motive’s San Francisco office twice a week.
