About The Position

Veradigm is seeking a Director, Product Management (Revenue Cycle) to own the end-to-end RCM product strategy. This role involves defining roadmaps, assessing the current RCM services portfolio, and identifying opportunities for productization. The ideal candidate will translate market trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs into a compelling product vision that differentiates Veradigm RCM. This position requires leading structured discovery programs, understanding RCM customer segments, and synthesizing competitive intelligence. The role also involves defining product requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and partnering closely with Engineering and Design. A key aspect is serving as the chief product evangelist, collaborating with Marketing on go-to-market strategies, and ensuring field readiness. Additionally, the Director will lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, fostering a customer-centric culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements

  • Experience in Product Management
  • Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
  • Ability to define product strategy and roadmaps
  • Experience with product discovery and customer research
  • Ability to define product requirements and manage backlogs
  • Experience partnering with Engineering and Design teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in team leadership and development
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (HIPAA, CMS billing regulations, payer requirements)
  • Ability to work legally in the United States or Canada

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end RCM product strategy, defining short-term and mid-to-long-term roadmaps.
  • Assess the current RCM services portfolio and identify opportunities to productize.
  • Translate market trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs into a coherent product vision.
  • Partner with the VP of Product Management and executive leadership to align RCM strategy.
  • Identify white space and adjacency opportunities within the revenue cycle domain.
  • Lead structured discovery programs, including customer interviews, site visits, advisory councils, and quantitative research.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of RCM customer segments and their distinct workflows, pain points, and success metrics.
  • Synthesize competitive intelligence and market data into actionable insights.
  • Define and communicate clear, outcome-driven product requirements and prioritized backlogs.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design.
  • Own feature prioritization and trade-off decisions.
  • Drive a high-quality product experience, maintaining attention to usability, reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Serve as the chief product evangelist for RCM.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and content.
  • Own field readiness for new releases, ensuring Sales, Customer Success, and Support are equipped.
  • Support key deals, strategic accounts, and RFP responses.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers.
  • Foster a customer-centric, data-informed, and outcome-oriented product culture.
  • Recruit top product management talent and build an inclusive team.
  • Regularly communicate product progress, wins, and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all RCM products meet applicable regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Proactively monitor the regulatory environment and incorporate upcoming changes into product planning.
