Requirements

  • 18+ years in life sciences product marketing
  • 10+ years leading teams
  • Proven track record in product strategy, market growth, and commercial execution
  • Deep knowledge of NGS technologies (RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), Library prep workflows, Genomics applications)
  • Understanding of applications, market needs, and competitive landscape
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience with financial modeling, product-market fit, and growth strategies
  • Ability to translate science to business strategy

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end NGS product lifecycle (Concept → development → launch → optimization)
  • Lead and mentor team of product managers
  • Manage product timelines, technical risks, vendor coordination, and resource allocation
  • Drive market research, financial modeling (NPV, ROI), and new product proposals
  • Oversee go-to-market strategies, product launches, and sales enablement initiatives
  • Conduct product line reviews and post-launch performance analysis
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Product, Sales, and Executive leadership
  • Act as NGS domain expert
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
  • Define market strategy, positioning, and growth opportunities
  • Build business cases and financial models
  • Present Go / No-Go decisions to senior leadership
  • Own commercial strategy for assigned NGS market segments
  • Identify and evaluate partnerships, sponsored research programs, and acquisitions
  • Define collaboration structures and requirements
