About The Position

As the Director, Process and Change Management within the Retail Operations Process and Change Management team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving transformational change across Retail Account Services, supporting both our on-shore teams and our GCC CIBC India Operations Teams. You manage multiple initiatives with conflicting priorities and limited resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. Your leadership will focus on fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation. You'll assess and communicate the impact of project changes, proactively engaging stakeholders to understand upstream and downstream implications. By enabling business transformation strategies, you'll support stakeholders across the organization to drive revenue, improve client experiences, and mitigate processing risks. As a chapter lead, you'll ensure proper capacity assignment to partner-driven initiatives and manage your team's resources effectively to support the new CIBC way of working. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in process and change management
  • Proven track record of leading teams and driving business transformation
  • At least 5 years of direct people leadership
  • Strong background in Business, Change Management, or Computer Science
  • Working knowledge of low-code tools, IPA, and GEN AI capabilities
  • Excel at engaging stakeholders, building strong relationships, and facilitating solution design discussions that meet project needs.
  • Manage multiple initiatives with conflicting priorities and limited resources, ensuring successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs.
  • Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
  • Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals.
  • Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
  • Establish best practices for capacity management to optimize resource allocation, project execution, and support partner-driven initiatives.
