About The Position

Fidelity Charitable is seeking a Director of Planning and Execution Enablement to join its Service Delivery and Operations organization. The role is responsible for planning and executing strategy in a customer-segmented environment, strategically managing competing priorities, processes, and customer needs to maximize value. The position plans and drives initiatives and leadership planning routines to enhance client satisfaction and retention, support the business’s digital transformation, and collaborate across Fidelity Charitable while promoting quality, scale, and efficiency for a highly engaged workforce. The Director supports functional leaders in developing and implementing the Service Delivery and Operations strategy and tracks and informs the prioritization of initiatives. The role also partners with leaders on core operations planning, works with Portfolio Delivery to maintain transparency into Service and Operations roadmaps, develops executive-level presentations, and coordinates transparent workstreams.

Requirements

College degree.
8–10 years of experience in business strategy and planning, service and/or brokerage operations, technology, or program management.
More than 5 years of demonstrated success leading multiple projects simultaneously and planning activities of varying complexity.
Proven experience in project management and collaboration with partners, with a focus on business outcomes that improve the client experience for donors, advisors, and nonprofit organizations.
Analytical mindset and proficiency with presentation tools, Microsoft Office, and Tableau or Power BI.
Ability to use data to tell a story and influence organizational decisions in consultation with leadership.
Ability to synthesize and simplify complex ideas and deliver executive-level presentations.
Data-driven, analytically thoughtful, detail-oriented, research-focused, and intellectually curious.
Strong influencing skills, including the ability to negotiate with peers, leaders, and partners across organizational boundaries.
Self-starter with ownership and accountability for outcomes; able to own initiatives, learn quickly, and think independently.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond constructively to shifting priorities, unexpected events, and seasonal demands.
Ability to navigate the organization and collaborate effectively to find compromises and creative solutions.
Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with key business partners.
Willingness to challenge existing practices and implement different approaches as work volumes increase and staffing remains static.

Responsibilities

Partner with leaders to develop strategic business initiatives and mechanisms for tracking and reporting progress.
Provide leadership and direction for planning, prioritizing, and running process improvement initiatives that support long-term strategic objectives.
Develop communications and presentations that convey key messages.
Perform resource planning, budgeting, and visualization activities.
Conduct cost, benefit, and risk analyses of current and proposed initiatives to balance customer service quality with efficient execution.
