About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Director Physician Practice Operations to lead, implement, and manage operational initiatives for all Baptist Health practices. This role involves facilitating meetings with diverse stakeholders, providing strategic analysis, and overseeing Patient Access leaders and departments. The Director will be responsible for metrics, KPIs, budget development, process improvement, and personnel issues. This position requires interpreting policies, recommending changes, and providing feedback to senior executives. The ideal candidate will possess organizational agility, be collaborative and assertive, and have experience working across various departments, entities, and specialties. They will provide creative and strategic foresight to plan for healthcare industry trends and react to unforeseen changes. Collaboration with product line leaders and executives is key to enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiencies for optimal financial and patient experience outcomes. The role also requires practicing the BHSF philosophy of service excellence in providing professional, compassionate, and friendly service to all patients, families, employees, physicians, and community members.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare preferred with a min of 6 years exp in healthcare, preferably in Rev Cycle Management, including a min of 5 years leadership exp in a multi-hospital/physician system required.
  • In lieu of Master‘s Degree, a minimum of 8 years experience in healthcare, preferably in Rev Cycle Management, including a minimum of 7 years leadership experience in a multi-hospital/physician system required.
  • Minimum Required Experience: 6 Years
  • Strong leadership, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Able to work & collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with supporting/implementing large scale enterprise-wide system initiatives.
  • Articulates knowledge & understanding of organizational policies/procedures/systems.

Nice To Haves

  • National Association of Healthcare Access Management, American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management, or Healthcare Financial Management Association certification preferred.
  • Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole.
