About The Position

Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) is seeking a Director, Pharmacy Integration and Account Management to oversee the integration of CHC Supply Trust members. This role involves managing workflow, contract integration, compliance, education, and competency related to various CHC Supply Trust Clinical Initiatives. Additionally, the position is responsible for managing relationships with assigned member hospitals to develop programs that optimize their use of the GPO portfolio. This is an exciting onsite role at CHC's corporate offices in Plano, Texas. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
  • Active Pharmacy Licensure in any state.
  • More than 7 years of relevant work experience preferred (Pharmacy Supply Chain ideal).
  • Acute care facility managerial/director experience.
  • Experience with multi-facility/IDN clinical/contracting initiative creation and implementation.
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing/directing a pharmacy program within an acute care facility, clinic-managed care organization or GPO required, including successful initiative implementation in a multi-facility environment.
  • Clinical knowledge across a wide range of therapeutic categories (I.e. infectious disease, cardiology, oncology, etc.).
  • Pharmacy operations knowledge and expertise for implementation of initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills required.
  • Possesses good organizational and presentation skills. Demonstrated presentation/public speaking skills and experience required.
  • Demonstrates leadership presence, and practices excellent diplomacy skills.
  • Possesses developed interpersonal skills to work in a high-profile and fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficient with a personal computer and the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy Residency (PGY1 & PGY2) training preferred.
  • Pertinent clinical training or appropriate GPO experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the onboarding process for new members, including workflow, contract integration, compliance, education, and competency regarding various Clinical Initiatives.
  • Building and managing strong relationships with assigned member facilities, serving as a dedicated point of contact for inquiries and support.
  • Proactively identifying member needs and developing customized solutions to optimize their use of the CHC Supply Trust portfolio.
  • Creating programs to assist both new and existing members in maximizing the benefits of the GPO portfolio.
  • Effectively communicating various performance contract programs and CHC Supply Trust initiatives to member facilities and other CHC staff through various channels.
  • Establishing and maintaining a unit work environment that reflects performance improvement and customer service program consistent with the Corporation’s Mission Statement.
  • Supporting the integration of Pharmacy Clinical Services with CHC Supply Trust members to ensure alignment and optimization of all program components.
  • Developing appropriate clinical material for member alignment to our GPO portfolio.
  • Acting as the liaison to 340B facilities.
  • Analyzing clinical and contracting opportunities and developing implementation plans for facilities.
  • Acting as liaison to facilities in meeting our clinical and contract compliance goals.
  • Facilitating opportunities for member interaction and networking regarding pharmacy programs.
  • Assisting members with clinical knowledge, clinical reference for pharmacy programs, and dissemination of pertinent clinical programs and clinical information to facilities.
  • Interacting with and presenting appropriate tools, reports and materials to facility leadership regarding Pharmacy Services, onboarding to HealthTrust membership, and implementation of contracting and clinical programs.
  • Developing tools and communications for new members to orient them to HealthTrust and rapid compliance with contractual products.
  • Monitoring, recording, analyzing and reporting on activities, trends, results and recommendations for clinical initiatives and other various Pharmacy Initiatives.
  • Monitoring member compliance with negotiated contract terms and conditions.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with staff and facilities to serve as clinical and/or operational resource, when needed.
  • Performing other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost-conscious manner, complying with all CHC’s policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Exhibiting appropriate quality service behaviors in meeting and/or exceeding the needs of departmental customers, co-workers and others they encounter as a representative of CHC Supply Trust.
