About The Position

To support our Personal Shopping and Client Relations team, we are searching for a Director Personal Shopping & Client Relations North America to be based in our New York office. This role will own the performance and growth of the Personal Shopping function across North America, driving regional revenue targets, productivity, and contribution to overall e-commerce sales. The Director will partner with leadership to align on strategy, targets, and expansion opportunities. The role involves managing and developing a high-performing team of Personal Shoppers, setting clear KPIs and performance expectations, and building a best-in-class team. Additionally, the Director will elevate the client experience by maintaining direct relationships with top-tier clients, ensuring a seamless experience, and acting as a brand ambassador. The role also focuses on data-led clienteling, leveraging insights to inform outreach, optimizing client segmentation, retention, and reactivation, and identifying opportunities to increase client lifetime value. The Director will lead the strategy and execution of client events and activations, and contribute to the evolution of Mytheresa’s global Personal Shopping strategy, partnering with Technology and Product teams to enhance clienteling tools.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in luxury retail, e-commerce, or personal shopping
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing, client-facing teams across a region
  • Deep understanding of the North American luxury client
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for luxury fashion and delivering an elevated client experience

  • Optimize client segmentation, retention, and reactivation efforts
  • Identify opportunities to increase client lifetime value and repeat business
  • Lead the strategy and execution of high-impact client events across North America
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver elevated, revenue-driving experiences
  • Utilize activations to acquire, retain, and grow key client relationships
  • Contribute to the evolution of Mytheresa’s global Personal Shopping strategy
  • Partner with Technology and Product teams to enhance clienteling tools and capabilities
