About The Position

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is seeking a Director, Perioperative Services. The role coordinates and evaluates the quality of nursing and patient care, financial stability, and service productivity. The Nursing Director is responsible for the professional development and morale of the service teams and works closely with the general management team and medical staff to meet system and organizational goals and the pillars relating to the departments overseen.

Requirements

• Graduate degree or bachelor's degree required.
• Current Florida nursing license required.
• Specialty certification required within one year of assuming the position, as appropriate.
• Maintain or exceed all specialty educational requirements.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Three to five years of previous experience as a Director of Surgical Services.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS, BLS, and CNOR certifications for healthcare providers preferred.
